Redefining My Thoughts

I am currently on day 3/60 of Insanity and day 1 of using Herbalife.
I think I have finally got back into the swing of things!
Hoping to lose at least 6 lbs by the time my family comes out to visit(which is in like 9 days)
Overall I would like to lose 50 lbs.
This will be a big challenge but I'm ready.

While I'm working on changing my body though I am also trying to learn to love it the way it is.
I have a horrible body image, always have.
It's so bad that I sometimes let it hinder me from doing the things that I want to do.
For example, my family & I went to a baby shower/pool party.
I've been wanting to go swimming so badly but I didn't there because I was afraid of looking fat in front of all these people.
Since then I have adapted my thoughts.
If I start to let my negative image hold me back I just think of this quote I found that basically says life is too short to let trivial things hold you back from living life.

Top 5 Books

Top 5 Books:

(Not really in any particular order)

1. The Longest Ride-Nicholas Sparks
Ok so yes ALL of Nicolas Sparks books are good but this one in particular just stood out to me.
I could not put this book down! So if you have not read any of his books I would reccomend starting with this one.

2. Dreamland- Sarah Dessen
Read this book while in high school so it's been about 5+ years but I can still remember this book & how it made
me feel. That should be enough to tell you how good it is!

3. Divergent Series- Veronica Roth
Okay so technically this is three books but this series is amazing! The fact that the end of the books
isn't some happily ever after is what put this series on my list. They are a must read.

4. Even Now/Ever After- Karen Kingsbury
Once again this is really two books but I'm obviously counting series as one. Anyways, this series is just amazing.
It is the only books of hers I have read but if these are any indication then all of her books are on my to read
 list.

5. A Journal For Jordan-Dana Canedy
This book had me in tears the whole way through it. It is a true story & it just breaks my heart. Sitting here
thinking about this book/writing about it just makes me want to read it all over again.Beautiful story, have
 tissues nearby!

I am a huge book nerd so it was hard for me to pick just five since I have so many favorites. These five made the list because most of them(besides the Divergent series) are books that are not really mainstream, books that you might not have ever heard of. They also made it because they left an impact on me, made me remember them and to me that's what a good book/author do.
